Zusammenfassung
Im aktuellen philosophischen Diskurs führt die Auseinandersetzung mit der Existenzphilosophie allenfalls ein randständiges Dasein. Ihre Blütezeit gehört spätestens seit Ende der 1960er Jahre und der Degeneration des Existenzialismus‘ zu einer Art Modeerscheinung der Vergangenheit. Ein philosophiehistorisches Interesse an ihr ist auch nur episodisch spürbar und geht häufig mit Jahrestagen ihrer Vertreter einher.
