Deutschland ist als Tagungsstandort die Nummer eins in Europa und liegt im weltweiten Vergleich auf Platz zwei, hinter den USA (ICCA Report, 2016). Allein im vergangenen Jahr nahmen 405 Mio. Personen an 2,97 Mio. Events teil (Meeting- & Eventbarometer 2017/2018).
