Zusammenfassung
Zur Unterstützung der Lehre, der Lehrenden und Lernenden werden heutzutage an vielen Universitäten und Fakultäten Studierende als Lehrende in unterschiedlichen Formaten des peer-assisted learning (PAL) eingesetzt. Verschiedenste PAL-Formate wie beispielsweise die Assistenz in Praktika, die Tätigkeit als peer teacher in Skillslabs, in Schreibberatungen oder die eigenständige Leitung von Lehrveranstaltungen bieten dabei Möglichkeiten zur Individualisierung, Erweiterung und Weiterentwicklung des Studiums. Neben den positiven Effekten für die fakultären Lehrenden und die Studierenden, die an PAL-Veranstaltungen teilnehmen, profitieren auch die peer teacher durch die Lehrerfahrung und die didaktischen sowie fachlichen Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen. Nach einer Vorstellung des Curriculums der Humanmedizin und dessen Herausforderungen, einer Einführung in PAL und dessen vielfältigen Einsatzgebieten, wird hier die Implementierung von fachspezifischen peer teaching Veranstaltungen für Studierende der Medizin anhand eines Leitfadens vorgestellt. Der vorliegende Leitfaden soll die Etablierung neuer PAL-Programme oder -Kurse erleichtern und unterstützen.
