Discussion of Findings

Abstract

To answer the overarching research questions of this thesis, the quantitative and qualitative findings will be discussed in light of the proposed hypotheses and past research. For this purpose, Chapter 6.1 is focused on RQ1 and a discussion of the structure and current focus of the field of external search. To answer RQ2, Chapter 6.2 engages in a discussion on the role of forward-looking external search for supporting the value contribution of foresight.
