Zusammenfassung

In der letzten Dekade wurden die großen energie- und umweltpolitischen Entscheidungen in Frankreich durch partizipative Willensbildungsprozesse begleitet. Im Oktober 2007 endete die unter Nicolas Sarkozy durchgeführte Grenelle de l’environnement. Rund sechs Jahre später, im Juli 2013, fand die von François Hollande anberaumte débat national sur la transition énergétique (DNTE) ihren Abschluss. Diese beiden Konsultationsverfahren markierten eine Abkehr von den bisherigen hierarchischen Politikprozessen im Umwelt- und Energiesektor (vgl. Teräväinen et al. 2011: 3436).
