Zusammenfassung

In the context of corporate development and from a system perspective, sustainability can be analyzed on two levels: On the one hand, and viewed from the outside, this concerns companies’ influence on the long-term survival of the global eco-social system. On the other hand, and viewed from the inside, the subject of analysis can also be a company’s long-term continued existence in the respective eco-social environment. These two system levels are closely interlinked, especially in a sustainability perspective that is geared towards the long-term.
