Zusammenfassung

Die Regelungen des thailändischen Arbeitsrechts gelten für thailändische und für ausländische Arbeitgeber und Arbeitnehmer gleichermaßen. Es bestehen lediglich einige Ausnahmen, welche die thailändischen Unternehmer und Arbeitnehmer vor übermäßiger ausländischer Konkurrenz schützen sollen. Der Arbeitgeber in Thailand sollte daher die grundsätzlichen Regelungen des thailändischen Arbeitsrechts kennen und mit den groben Strukturen und der Organisation vertraut sein.
