Zusammenfassung
Der Nationalpark Zhangjiajie ist der erste nationale Waldpark von China. Vor 60 Jahren wurde hier zunächst eine national geförderte Baumschule gegründet, bis das Gebiet 1982 offiziell als nationaler Waldpark mit einer Größe von 48 km2 anerkannt wurde. Er gehört zum Wulingyuan Landschaftsgebiet und befindet sich nördlich der chinesischen Stadt Zhangjiajie.
