Abstract
The scorpions of the species Mesobuthus eupeus (Koch, 1839), which were used in this study, were obtained from the online shop „the pet factory“(www.thepetfactory. de, Huelsede, Germany). The adult animals were kept together in tanks of the size of 33.5 x 20 x 18 cm under natural light conditions and temperatures between 22°C and 25°C. The tanks were filled with approx. 5 cm of sand as substrate and stones and bricks served as hiding places.
