Das Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG) regelt die Mitbestimmung der Arbeitnehmervertretung in der Privatwirtschaft. Die maßgebliche Organisationseinheit bildet hier der Betrieb. Ein Betrieb wird grob gesagt als sog. organisatorische Einheit verstanden.
