Zusammenfassung
Obwohl dem Begriff ‚Qualität‘ in der Regel eine wertende Bedeutung beigemessen wird, dient er in seiner einfachsten Form als wertfreie Beschreibung des Zustandes oder der Beschaffenheit von Produkten und Prozessen. Dabei lassen sich praktisch beliebig viele Eigenschaften oder Dimensionen zur Beschreibung zugrunde legen, was gerade in der Umfrageforschung zu historisch unterschiedlichen Diskursen geführt hat (Groves 2004).
