Zusammenfassung
Journalismus wird in dieser Arbeit als „soziale Institution“ in Demokratisierungsprozessen verstanden mit dem Auftrag „to observe society and its various fields, selecting and providing topics for debate and decision-making by the wider public (Neverla et al. 2015: 1). Diese Arbeit ist der Frage nachgegangen, wie sich Journalisten positionieren in einem Konflikt, der ihre gewaltbehaftete Vergangenheit berührt. Wie in der Einleitung festgehalten, ist Bourdieu zufolge der Wert der Freiheit „not a property that falls from the sky” (Bourdieu 2005b: 44), sondern hängt eng mit der ausgeübten Position und dem Sozialgefüge einer Person zusammen.
