Zusammenfassung
Ein Chatbot ist ein Computer-Programm, das automatische Antworttexte auf Textoder Spracheingaben von Nutzenden erzeugt und damit dem Bereich der „künstlichen Intelligenz“ zugeordnet wird. Menschen kommunizieren einerseits untereinander zunehmend mittels Textnachrichten, andererseits wird auch häufiger gesprochene Sprache zur Mensch-Computer-Interaktion genutzt. Diese Trends weisen auf eine zunehmende Bedeutung von Text- und Sprachinteraktion für die interaktive Mediengestaltung hin. Auch wenn Sprachinteraktion mit Computern eine alte Vision ist, ist deren Gestaltung abhängig von technischen und computerlinguistischen Herausforderungen, für die noch heute in der Informatik keine einfachen Lösungen vorliegen. Sowohl hoher Produktionsaufwand als auch eine schwierige Kontrolle über die Qualität der resultierenden Gespräche sind Hürden für die Mediengestaltung, die realistisch eingeschätzt werden müssen. Der Artikel beschreibt, wie heute mit zwei unterschiedlichen Methoden Chatbots erstellt werden. Die Rolle des Media Management wird diskutiert, und es werden Projekte beschrieben, die mit Studierenden im Studiengang Media Management durchgeführt wurden. Innerhalb der Vertiefung „Interaktive Medien“ kann sich der Thematik grundsätzlich angenähert werden, um die Voraussetzungen für eine spätere Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Teams zu schaffen.
