Abstract
To answer the research questions introduced above, this thesis will apply a mixed methods approach. While the rationale for all research presented in this thesis is a qualitative practice based approach (Wulf et al., 2011, 2015b), it is accompanied by quantitative descriptive and statistical methods. As previously mentioned the population of older adults is very heterogeneous and the understanding of their attitudes and perspectives with respect to health, quality of life and technology use may be complex.
