Abstract

Technologies for AHA support can be a viable alternative to promote health in older adults. They provide functionalities to support a healthy lifestyle in daily life, for instance by monitoring older adults’ activity and suggest prevention or intervention activities. Field studies illustrate that the use of AHA technologies for AHA support may effectively improve or maintain health in older adults (Finkelstein et al., 2016; Gschwind et al., 2015; Mansi et al., 2015).
