Zusammenfassung

Around 42 million children were overweight or obese in 2013 worldwide, according to WHO, and if this trend continues, this figure will rise to 70 million in 2025 (WHO, 2015). Previous research identified several causes of childhood obesity, namely a poor diet, sedentary lifestyles among others. To fight this, some measures were proposed such as increasing the information and knowledge on nutrition, changing attitudes towards healthy food, or finding ways to change behaviours through e.g. ‘nudging’ consumers (WHO, 2015).
