Zusammenfassung
„Bewerten Sie Ihre heutige Zugfahrt“, „Bewerten Sie ihren Einkauf, ihren Schlaf, ihre Stimmung, die letzte Lehrveranstaltung“, und auch: „Bewerten Sie potentielle SexualpartnerInnen“ (Tinder). Angesichts der Ubiquität niedrigschwelliger Bewertungsmöglichkeiten scheint der Titel des Beitrags lediglich eine Selbstverständlichkeit auszudrücken: Wer würde an einer veritablen Explosion von Bewertungsanlässen in den modernen Gegenwartsgesellschaften noch zweifeln? Mit der These einer „Ausweitung des Bewertungshorizonts“ ist jedoch mehr gemeint. Es soll gezeigt werden, dass in den modernen Gegenwartsgesellschaften nicht nur ganz allgemein immer mehr bewertet wird, sondern dass wir eine ganz spezifische Ausweitung kalkulativer und evaluativer Praktiken erleben.
