Zusammenfassung

In dem kurzen Aufsatz erklärt Breiger die unimodale Projektion von bimodalen Daten am Beispiel der » Southern Women « (Davis et al. 2009). Die Beispieluntersuchung ist vor allem durch Homans (→ 1950) bekannt geworden, ein Buch, welches in den 1960er auch in deutscher Übersetzung vorlag und die damals sehr stark an sozialen Gruppen orientierte Soziologie prägte.
