Im neunten Kapitel wird der kleine Satz von Fermat bewiesen und auf ihm aufbauend die Idee eines Fermatschen Primzahltests erläutert. Nach einer Diskussion der Problematik von Carmichael-Zahlen wird der Miller-Rabin-Test vorgestellt und in Python implementiert.
