Zusammenfassung
Das 48. Kapitel thematisiert den Fundamentalsatz der Analysis, den man auch Hauptsatz der Differential- und Integralrechnung nennt. Aus diesem wird die Newton-Leibniz-Formel hergeleitet. Uneigentliche Integrale werden definiert und am Ende des Kapitels werden kurz sogenannte ″spezielle Funktionen″ diskutiert, die keine elementaten Stammfunktionen haben.
