Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Aufsatz untersucht den Einfluss des chinesischen Bildungsdiskurses auf Erziehungsziele und erzieherische Praxis in Beijinger Mittelschichtsfamilien. Basierend auf der Auswertung von insgesamt 48 qualitativen Interviews arbeitet er vier unterschiedliche Gruppen von Erziehungszielen und damit verbundenen Erziehungspraktiken heraus. Dabei geht die Analyse sowohl auf auffällige Parallelen als auch bedeutsame Unterschiede zur gegenwärtigen Bildungsdiskussion in China ein. Sie zeigt, dass die Befragten im Wechselspiel mit dem öffentlichen und staatlichen Diskurs ihre ganz eigenen Schwerpunkte setzen und dabei einer Vielzahl weiterer Einflussfaktoren unterliegen.
