Zusammenfassung
Obwohl arabische Touristen die Schweiz intensiv bereisen, erhalten sie oftmals standardisierte Informationen, die lediglich ins Arabische übersetzt wurden. Meine ethnografische Untersuchung von arabischen Touristen zeigt, dass dies oftmals Irritation zur Folge hat. Entsprechend möchte ich herausfinden, welche Probleme arabische Touristen in der Schweiz haben – und wie diese sich lösen lassen. Hierzu habe ich einen Prototyp eines Informationssystems designt, das ihnen Informationen im örtlichen und zeitlichen Kontext bereitstellt, die mit ihren Bedürfnissen und ihrer Kommunikationskultur übereinstimmt.
