Zusammenfassung
„Der Frieden der Bewaffneten ist nicht der Frieden der Völker“: Zitiert wird hier der Titel eines an die kolumbianische und internationale Öffentlichkeit gerichteten Kommuniqués der indigenen Organisation Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca (CRIC) (Regionaler Indigenenrat des Cauca). Die Mitteilung des CRIC nimmt dabei direkten Bezug auf den über vier Jahre verhandelten Friedensvertrag zwischen der kolumbianischen Regierung und der Guerillabewegung Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) (Revolutionäre Streitkräfte Kolumbiens). Zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung des Kommuniqués, Ende August des vergangenen Jahres, erschien die Annahme des Abkommens noch eine rein formale Angelegenheit zu sein und die Hoffnung in großen Teilen der kolumbianischen Gesellschaft auf eine politische Lösung des Konflikts war groß.
