Zusammenfassung

Neue technische und organisatorische Möglichkeiten der IT bieten die Chance, eine weiterführende Integration der Prozesse im Rahmen der Transportlogistik wie bspw. für das Routing von Auslieferfahrzeugen (z.B. KEP-Dienste, Retail- und Last-Mile-Distribution) zu realisieren. Dabei werden potenziell die derzeit in der Regel getrennten Bereiche Frontend (Kundenkommunikation z.B. per Online-Portal oder Smartphone-App) und Backend (Fahrzeugrouting, Fahreranweisungen und Dynamic Routing z.B. in Stausituationen) in „real time“ verbunden, indem Kundenvorgaben direkt in die Fahrtanweisungen eines Fahrzeugs (z.B. über Smartphone, Tablet oder mit Datenbrille) eingebunden und eingeblendet werden.
