Zusammenfassung
Analyzing hydrodynamic bearing systems, in many applications thermal effects as the temperature distribution of the fluid and the thermal distortion plays an important role. Especially for high speed bearings and for high loaded bearings these effects cannot be neglected. For a standard EHD bearing simulation these effects are considered by the definition of boundary conditions like a constant fluid viscosity based on measured bearing temperatures and thermal distortions of the running surfaces coming from previous simulations.
