Zusammenfassung
Das Wohnen in der Stadt hat für viele Bevölkerungsgruppen in den letzten Jahren an Attraktivität gewonnen (z.B. Matthes 2016, Brake/ Herfert 2012, Herfert/Osterhage 2012: 95, Kabisch et al. 2012, Jekel et al. 2010, Haase et al. 2010). Immer mehr Menschen ziehen in (inner-)städtische Gebiete oder bleiben dort, etwa nach der Phase der Ausbildung, wohnen. Ein sichtbarer Ausdruck dieser Entwicklung ist die Zunahme von Neubautätigkeiten in (inner-)städtischen Lagen.
