Abstract
This chapter is dedicated to the explorative research perspectives arising from the application of quantitative methods to the student spatial language collected using qualitative methods in this present research. The aim of this chapter is to investigate the frequency of use of identified strategies in student discourse and the nature of spatial language under consideration of possibly influencing background factors – student language proficiency, spatial abilities, and sex. The results to corresponding research questions (R3) and (R4) in Section 3.1 were achieved by the deductive data analysis processes described in Section 4.2.6.3.
