Meistens denkt man bei Mittelwerten an das arithmetische Mittel zwischen zwei Zahlen. Bei 1 und 2 würde man 1,5 als Mittelwert betrachten. Bei beliebigen Zahlen a und b den Wert \(\frac{1}{2}\left( {a + b} \right)\).
