Abstract
The philosophy of science does not request quality control; the ideal scientific paper is clear, straightforward, and correct. Also, scientific methodology or the legal and ethical framework for research do not request a safeguarding mechanism. If all research were reproducible, transparent, documented honestly, and conducted in respect of copyright, animal protection, ethical regulations of experimentation, anti-discrimination laws, and minority rights, no formal quality control would be necessary.
