Zusammenfassung
Soziale Medien spielen in der heutigen Gesellschaft eine zunehmend große Rolle, da Menschen sich nicht mehr nur über die vorher gängigen Medien informieren. Jeder kann die Rolle eines Kommentators übernehmen und Ereignisse aus seiner Sicht beschreiben. Dies spielte beim Brexit eine Rolle und auch bei der Wahl von Donald Trump zum Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten (Polonski 2016).
