Zusammenfassung

Verschiedene Disziplinen haben Emotionen im Forschungsprozess unterschiedlich bewertet. Aber sie teilen die Annahme, dass diese zu vermeiden oder zu verschweigen seien. Gefühle beeinflussen menschliches Verhalten jedoch überall, auch in der Wissenschaft. Besonders wirksam sind sie in der Feldforschung – in der Begegnung mit Menschen anderer Kulturen oder in der Auseinandersetzung mit anderen Arten.
