Gestaltung von Innovationen in Organisationen des Sozialwesens

Zusammenfassung

Ist es überhaupt möglich, Innovationen zu steuern und zu gestalten? Während Planung und Steuerung bedeutet, auf der Basis von möglichst früh und umfassend vorhandenen Informationen und deren Analyse Handlungsschritte gedanklich vorwegzunehmen und die Erreichung eines Ziels anzustreben, steht die Gestaltung von Innovation in hohem Maß für Kreativität, Offenheit und ein agiles Denken in flexiblen Szenarien. Die Steuerung und Gestaltung von Innovationsprozessen gleicht deshalb einem Eiertanz, dessen Rhythmus von einem analytisch-planenden Zugang und einer kontextbezogenen Flexibilität (Brown und Waterhouse, S. 109) bestimmt wird. Da Innovation in diesem Sinn eher ein suchender als ein linearer Prozess ist, wird im Folgenden vorzugsweise von der „Gestaltung von Innovationsprozessen“ statt von „Innovationsmanagement“ die Rede sein.
