Zusammenfassung
Kommunikation schlägt Information – dies gilt insb. für den Online-Vertrieb! Denn durch die Sozialen Medien bieten sich Unternehmen inzwischen bislang ungeahnte Möglichkeiten in der B2C-Kommunikation. Um diese Potenziale gezielt zu nutzen, ist jedoch eine konsistente und zielgruppenadäquate Sales-Strategie wichtig. In dieser Ausrichtung spielt der Ansatz des „Social Selling“ innerhalb des Netzwerks der Kunden eine immer wichtigere Rolle in der Kundenakquisition. Der Beitrag zeigt daher Chancen und Risiken eines Einsatzes von Social Media im Vertrieb auf und beleuchtet, welche Strategien Unternehmen im B2C-Sales gezielt verfolgen können, um durch die Nutzung sozialer Netzwerke ihren Verkaufserfolg in der Zielgruppe der „Connected Customer“ zu maximieren. Anhand konkreter Beispiele und Good Practices werden z. B. der Einsatz von Influencer-Marketing und Storytelling betrachtet und herausgearbeitet, dass „Social Selling“ keine unterstützendes Sales-Maßnahme, sondern ein eigenständiger Vertriebsansatz, sein muss, um nachhaltig zum Verkaufserfolg beizutragen.
