Zusammenfassung
Die fortschreitende Digitalisierung ermöglicht es Konsumenten in bisher ungekanntem Ausmaß Güter und Dienstleistungen im Rahmen von Sharing Economy-Modellen zu tauschen, teilen, leihen und verkaufen. Mit Blick auf die steigende Relevanz solcher Modelle ist es aus Sicht etablierter Unternehmen bedeutsam, möglichst frühzeitig zu erkennen, inwieweit eine wettbewerbsinduzierte Sharing-Innovation einen disruptiven Charakter aufweist und somit das eigene Geschäftsmodell bedrohen könnte. Der vorliegende Beitrag entwickelt eine Heuristik mit deren Hilfe das Disruptionspotenzial von Sharing Economy-Modellen eingeschätzt werden kann.

Der Begriff bezeichnet in diesem Zusammenhang einen neuen Typus von Konsument, welcher nach Erlebnissen anstelle von Besitztümern strebt und Eigentum als Last empfindet (vgl.
