Zusammenfassung
Mit der zunehmenden Nutzung des Internets in nahezu allen Bereichen des täglichen Lebens und mit der Verbreitung der Digitalisierung ändern sich nicht nur Strukturen und Prozesse in Unternehmen, sondern es scheinen traditionelle Geschäftsmodelle in immer mehr Bereichen der Wirtschaft in Frage gestellt zu werden. Die Medienindustrie stellt ein frühes Beispiel für einen Wirtschaftsbereich dar, in dem die traditionelle Produktion journalistischer Inhalte und der Verkauf von Printmedien nicht mehr gefragt sind.
