Zusammenfassung
Die Erzielung von Wertschöpfung in Zeiten von erhöhtem Wettbewerb, kürzeren Geschäftsmodellzyklen und der zunehmenden Schnelllebigkeit ist zu einer der höchsten Zielsetzungen geworden. Geschäftsmodellinnovationen stellen in Zeiten vorherschender Megatrends wie der Digitalisierung, Globalisierung dem demographischen Wandel eine mögliche Lösung zum Erhalt der Überlebensfähigkeit und der Erzielung von Wettbewerbsvorteilen dar. Die praktische Umsetzung ist dabei alles andere als trivial und wird oftmals als komplex, aufwendig und risikobehaftet bezeichnet. Der vorliegende Beitrag befasst sich mit dem Wertschöpfungsbegriff im Rahmen von Geschäfftsmodellinnovationen. Neben der Aufspaltung des Begriffes in die einzelnen Bausteine, wird deren Bedeutung exemplarisch anhand der Identifikation von Erfolgsfaktoren und deren Wirkung auf den Unternehmenerfolg aufgezeigt.
