Für die nähere Bestimmung der Dynamik des Übergangs zur Vaterschaft benötigen wir ein ausreichendes Verständnis der grundlegenden Strukturen der familialen Interaktion. Ulrich Oevermann hat hierzu in stellenweiser Anknüpfung an Freuds Entwicklungstheorie ein Modell der ödipalen Triade entwickelt, das den Strukturkern von Familie als sozialisatorischer Praxis darstellt.
