After the results were described and discussed with regard to the research questions and hypotheses in the previous parts according to the three rounds, I will summarize these discussions in the following according to the three rounds of investigation and reflect on the implications of the results in terms of their significance for future science education in Germany. For a larger picture, I will also relate the outcomes of this study to other national curricular Delphi studies conducted in the context of the PORFILES project and point out implications for science education in Europe.
