Zusammenfassung
Die Soziologie, teilweise auch die politische Philosophie, Ralf Dahrendorfs hat eine erhebliche Resonanz erfahren. Das Buch ‚Homo Sociologicus‘ ist – so Dahrendorf (1984, S. 15) – „mit Recht neben anderem als liberal-anarchisches Bekenntnis gelesen worden“, das – wie Gerhardt (1994, S. 61) anmerkt – als „Warnung vor der Rollentheorie geschrieben“ worden sei. Die Schrift ‚Soziale Klassen und Klassenkonflikt‘ – freilich in Verbindung mit seinen anderen Veröffentlichungen zum Thema Konflikt – wirkt bis heute in der Konfliktforschung und bildete erste Anstöße zur ‚Konfliktpädagogik‘ (Dahrendorf 1984; siehe z. B. auch Giesen 1993; Leipertz 2002).
