Zusammenfassung
Die Subprime-Krise (2007/2008) ist ein einschlägiges Beispiel für eine abrupte, tief greifende und weitreichende Umwälzung etablierter Ordnungsstrukturen auf Finanzmärkten, die erhebliche finanzmarktimmanente und -externe Folgen hatte (Lounsbury/Hirsch 2010). Scheinbar konnte diese Unordnung jedoch zügig wieder in eine Ordnung transformiert werden, nämlich die Sicherstellung eines geregelten und für die Banken als Hauptakteure des Sektors profitablen Zahlungsverkehrs. So unterlag zum Beispiel die deutsche Bankwirtschaft in den Jahren 2008 und 2009 noch verlustträchtigen Krisenkonsequenzen.
