Zusammenfassung

Dieses Buch zeigt deutlich, dass Osteuropa als Forschungsgebiet nach wie vor von hoher Relevanz ist. Dabei ist es heute schwieriger als vor zehn oder 20 Jahren, den Begriff Osteuropa zu definieren, insbesondere dann, wenn sich die Analysen nicht nur retrospektiv auf diese Region bezieht, sondern auch zeitgeschichtliche und aktuelle Entwicklungen einschließen.
