Zusammenfassung

Digitalisierung eröffnet mannigfaltige Innovationspotentiale, insbesondere für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) aus dem produzierenden Bereich und unterstützenden Sektoren. Demgegenüber stehen jedoch auch Herausforderungen, denen Mittelständler in ihrer Rolle in unternehmensübergreifenden Netzwerken begegnen können. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich daher mit der Möglichkeit, mit Hilfe von Industrial Data Clouds und Faktenbasiertem Service-Systems-Engineering Potentiale von Digitalisierung zu realisieren und Herausforderungen zu begegnen.
