Warschau boomt. Innerhalb der letzten zwei Jahrzehnte hat sich die Hauptstadt Polens grundlegend gewandelt und wird heute auch als „New York des Ostens“ (Expo Real News 2010, S. 1) betitelt. Insbesondere der Beitritt Polens in die Europäische Union (EU) 2004 ließ Warschau zu einem attraktiven Ziel internationaler Akteure werden, die nicht nur die Wirtschaft ankurbelten, sondern auch das Gesicht der Stadt enorm veränderten.
