Insbesondere die Integration von Multitouch-Bedienoberflächen, des mobilen Internets und der Digitalkamera in einem Produkt ermöglichte den Siegeszug der Smartphones in nur wenigen Jahren (Cecere et al. 2015). Technologische Innovationen und kurze Entwicklungszyklen zeichnen dabei den hochdynamischen Markt aus.
