Zur Fundierung der Entscheidung stehen u. a. Risikoindizes zur Verfügung. Der vorliegende Index (Peren-Clement-Index – PCI) wurde in seiner Ursprungsform 1998 veröffentlicht. Der Index ist in diversen Lexika aufgenommen und ist in der Literatur zur Bewertung von Risiken sowie in der unternehmerischen Praxis global etabliert.
