Zusammenfassung

Die Dissertation ist im Rahmen meiner Tätigkeit als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Organisation an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel und später als externer Doktorand entstanden. Thematische Schwerpunkte des Lehrstuhls, insbesondere diejenigen des Internationalen Managements und auch der Organisationswissenschaft, finden sich in der inhaltlichen Ausrichtung der Beiträge wieder. In diesen wird die Bedeutung pfadabhängigkeitstheoretischer Erkenntnisse für den Internationalisierungsprozess von Unternehmen theoretisch diskutiert und empirisch untersucht.
