As to evaluate minimum wage impacts on education, the relation between income and skill acquisition is clarified first. The theoretical background is illustrated by the Human Capital Theory. Building on this, possible educational reactions of labor supply and demand to a wage floor are discussed. Later, a presentation of various empirical studies follows which serve as a point of reference for the empirical analysis carried out in this thesis.
