Abstract
This chapter is dedicated to the core research question of this study (see section 1.2): “Which conditions enhance turnaround success?” With a broader scope than most other works (e.g., Buschmann, 2006; Eichner, 2010; Sudarsanam & Lai, 2001), I not only analyze if and how the chosen turnaround strategy impacts the ‘turnaround result,’ but also integrate the effect of all aspects of turnaround management characteristics, crisis characteristics and context factors into the analysis.
