Zusammenfassung
Die empirische Studie der vorliegenden Dissertation hat den Bereich der Hochschulen fokussiert und Effekte der Quantifizierung am Beispiel von Hochschulrankings untersucht. Mit Rankings ist ein Diskurs thematisiert worden, welcher stark polarisiert, innerhalb und ausserhalb des wissenschaftlichen Systems. Dies macht die Analyse besonders spannend, weil verschiedene Kontroversen zum Vorschein kommen.
