The Relationship of Leadership and Innovation in Family Businesses

Part of the book series: BestMasters ((BEST))

Abstract

Hereinafter, the author develops an integrative conceptual framework, including leadership as innovation determinant, and innovation input and output as innovation dimensions. Based on the framework, the theoretical meta-construct of leadership in family firms is defined as a composition of the leadership subcategories management, ownership, and generation. This framework is applied in chapter 6 to organize the emerging results from the review.
